Qualcomm Introduces Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 Mobile Platform

Qualcomm has unveiled its new mobile platform Snapdragon 6s Gen 3. This chipset will power mid-range smartphones. The SoC promises upgraded performance over its predecessor.

Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 is built on 6nm process. It has Kryo CPU with a clock speed of up to 2.3Ghz. The company didn’t confirm the details of the CPU structure. So we will have to wait to know about performance and efficiency core. The chipset also has integrated Adreno GPU. The SoC also supports LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

The mobile platform features Spectra triple ISP to bring support for multi-camera photo and video captures. It can support up to 108MP cameras, 25MP + 13MP dual camera, 13MP triple camera, and video recording up to 1080p @ 60 fps.

There is also a dedicated AI engine for providing Qualcomm Sensing that ensures security. It also has several AI-driven camera features, voice recognition, and more. The chipset supports a 120fps FHD+ display.

It also has Fastconnect 6200 system with support for Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth v5.2. It also supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, Navic, QZSS, and Dual-Frequency GNSS for location positioning. The Snapdragon X51 5G Modem-RF System with 5G multi-SIM support offers up to 2.5Gbps download speeds on 5G.
