Google Maps big privacy update: Google will no longer store your location history

After facing privacy issues for Google cloud, Google Maps seem to be upgrading its privacy strategies. Google Maps will store your data on local devices and not on the clouds!

News comes in that Google revealed that all the location history will be saved on users’ devices. Google seems to have renamed the location history feature to ‘Timeline.’

Reportedly, Google sent an email to its users which says “you have until December 1st to save all your travels to your mobile device before it starts deleting your old data.”
