NPCI, Peru central bank ink pact to build UPI-like payments system

NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL), the international subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has signed an agreement with the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP) to deploy a real-time digital payments system in Peru, similar to the Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
