Computex 2024: Intel unveils Lunar Lake processor for AI PCs, Xeon 6 server processor, and Gaudi 3 AI accelerator

At the Computex 2024 AI Everywhere event held in Taipei, Taiwan on Tuesday, Intel unveiled the architecture behind the Lunar Lake processors, meant for the upcoming AI PCs. According to Intel, Lunar Lake offers incredible power efficiency with up to three times more AI compute compared to the current Meteor Lake processors.

Intel stated that 60 per cent of the new PCs by 2027 will be AI PCs. The company’s Core Ultra platform is said to be capable of supporting over 500 AI models and over 300 AI features from across 100 independent software vendors.
