Computex 2024: AMD announces “the world’s most powerful desktop consumer processor”, AI laptop chips

AMD has announced a bunch of AI PC processors, including Ryzen 9 9950X which it calls “the world’s most powerful desktop consumer processor” at Computex 2024 in Taipei, Taiwan. The announcement comes as the chipmaker takes on Nvidia that teased “RTX AI PC” laptops with “up to GeForce RTX 4070 GPUs and power-efficient systems-on-a-chip with Windows 11 AI PC capabilities”.
