Why some execs at Apple, OpenAI, and Microsoft may not be happy with Sam Altman’s ChatGPT-Siri deal

Apple has made a deal with OpenAI, an artificial intelligence company run by Sam Altman, to put its ChatGPT technology into the new iOS 18 operating system for iPhones. The two are expected to make things public at the WWDC. But getting to this partnership wasn’t easy for either Apple or OpenAI. The Information reports that some executives at both companies didn’t like the idea.
