Elon Musk’s xAI and Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta are competing to partner with AI startup Character.AI, valued at $1 billion. The Financial Times reported that both companies, along with SpaceX, have held talks with Character.AI about AI initiatives. Meta launched Threads to compete with xAI, while xAI aims to build a ‘gigafactory of compute’ for the latest version of Grok chatbot.
