BSNL puts 27 land parcels across 11 states, UTs on the block; invites bids
In a major push to government’s asset monetisation programme, the state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has put on block 27 land parcels across 11 states and Union Territories.
The record accessed by The Indian Express shows that these land parcels include telephone exchanges, vacant land, administrative buildings, and staff quarter compound etc. These are spread across Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Puducherry, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. The BSNL had invited bids for auction of land parcels in these states through e-tender followed by e-auction, vide a Request for Proposal (RFP) on May 16, 2024.
