WhatsApp users can now set minute long voice message as status

WhatsApp, the instant messaging platform with billions of users worldwide, will soon let users set voice messages up to a minute long as status updates.

While the current version of WhatsApp allows users to share 30-second-long voice messages as status updates, a recent report by WABetaInfo suggests that the functionality has been upgraded to support voice messages up to a minute long, which is double the previous limit.

The extended voice note duration is really helpful for users who share status updates in the form of voice notes as they will no longer have to split their audio recordings into multiple parts. In the long run, this will help save time and make the communication processor much more convenient.
