Apple addresses ‘rare issue’ with iOS 17.5.1 update

Apple has rolled out a new software update for iPhones that fixes a major flaw that made deleted photos resurface for some users. By issuing an iOS 17.5.1 update, the company has acknowledged the issue and has also provided a solution for the same.

For users who are already on the iOS 17.5 update, the latest iOS 17.5.1 update is around 315 MB in size. According to the official changelog, “This update provides important bug fixes and addresses a rare issue where photos that experienced database corruption could reappear in the Photos library even if they were deleted.”
