Twitter becomes X.com for good as Elon Musk races to turn it into an everything app

The microblogging platform formerly known as Twitter has officially become X.com, Elon Musk announced today. “All core systems are now ok X.com,” Musk said. This means that now when you type twitter.com in your browser, you should be redirected to X.com— Elon Musk’s preferred domain.

A notification at the bottom of the X login page now mentions, “We are letting you know that we are changing our URL, but your privacy and data protection settings remain the same.”
