Both JerryRigEverything and AppleTrack have conducted bend tests, and the consensus seems to be positive: the new iPad Pro is remarkably sturdy and resistant to bending, even under extreme pressure.

It’s remarkable—and a major relief for Apple—because this new iPad Pro is the thinnest product that it has ever made. It’s thinner than even the iPad Nano. The 13-inch model is only 5.1mm thin. The 11-inch model just 5.3mm. The 11-inch version weighs only 444g (Wi-Fi) while the 13-inch version is just 579g.
