Meta to shut down its Microsoft Teams competitor Workplace: Everything we know

Meta reportedly plans to shut down ‘Workplace’, a version of Facebook that was built to enable communication among business teams and wider organisations.

TechCrunch reported that Meta will shut down Facebook-based alternatives to office communication platforms such as Slack and Microsoft Teams alternatives. Meta spokesperson Ashley Zandy told The Verge that it will be available to customers for use through August 31st, 2025.
