ChatGPT has a new macOS app, Windows version launching later this year

ChatGPT on Monday unveiled its latest flagship model, the GPT-4o, available for both Plus and free users with multimodal capability. The company also introduced its very first desktop app for macOS and confirmed that the Windows app will launch later this year.

The new ChatGPT app for macOS, provided free of charge, fully leverages GPT-4o and is deeply integrated into the operating system. It functions across various apps and services. Users can access it using a shortcut (Option + Space).
