NTT expands presence in India with Noida Data Center Campus
Global IT infrastructure and services company, NTT Ltd announced the launch of its new data center campus, Noida 2, covering six acres in the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR). The campus is set to accommodate a planned capacity of 52.8 MW critical IT load through two data centers.
The first data center within the campus, delivering today, will support a 22.4 MW IT load across an area of approximately 300,000 sq. ft. (28,000m2). Notably, this marks the first data center campus in India to incorporate seismic dampers, ensuring uninterrupted operations during significant seismic events.
The facility boasts advanced features, including high levels of automation for monitoring and optimizing facility performance, as well as resources like power and water.
Situated in Noida’s data center corridor within the Delhi NCR, the campus is carrier-neutral and interconnected with NTT’s other data center locations. With this launch, NTT’s Global Data Centers division expands its India footprint to over 268 MW with 18 data centers across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru, including the recently live Mumbai 9 data center.
