YouTube Creator Summit 2023: Aloud, AI Insights, Create and other AI features announced

YouTube at its annual Creator Summit “Made on YouTube” announced a slew of new AI-powered tools for creators. One of the most exciting tools is Dream Screen. It is a generative AI tool that allows YouTube Shorts users to create unique backgrounds by typing in a prompt. For example, a user could type in “a galaxy full of stars” and Dream Screen would generate a unique background image that fits that description.

YouTube is also launching a new mobile app called YouTube Create. The feature is currently in beta on Android in select markets and is free to use. The app can be used to make Shorts or longer videos, allowing creators to edit, soundtrack, add captions and more all from their mobile phones.

Another new AI-powered tool is AI Insights. AI Insights provides creators with data and insights about their audience to help creators create more relevant and engaging content for their viewers.
“AI Insights is designed to help spark your next idea and outline suggestions based on what your audience is already watching on YouTube. In our initial test, more than 70 percent of those surveyed said it’s helped them develop and test ideas for videos,” company informs in a blog post.

YouTube is introducing a new tool called Aloud that can help creators dub their videos into other languages.

YouTube is making it easier for creators to find and use music in their videos with a new assistive search feature. This feature suggests soundtracks for videos based on the video’s description you type.

These new AI-powered tools are a sign that YouTube wants to use AI to encourage creators to create content on platform. With these tools, creators will be able to create more engaging videos for their viewers, ultimately leading to more views, subscribers, and revenue.
