Excitel launches new broadband plans with 400Mbps speed, access to 16 OTTs

Homegrown wireline internet service provider (ISP) Excitel on Monday launched new ‘Big Screen’ and ‘Mini Home Theater’ broadband plans with 400Mbps speeds and subscription to over-the-top (OTT) platforms.

The ‘Big Screen’ plan offers 32-inch smart TV with 16 app subscriptions, including Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, and ZEE5 among others, at Rs 1,299 per month, said Excitel in a statement. The ‘Mini Home Theater’ plan offers a full HD home projector with autofocus and dual WiFi, as well as, access to 16 OTTs, at Rs 1,499 per month.

“Our decision to expand the ‘Smart TV with Smart Wi-Fi Plan’ PAN India as BIG Screen Plan aims to offer users the luxury of uninterrupted and high-speed home entertainment with free OTT subscriptions, TV sets, and Projectors,” said Varun Pasricha, COO, Excitel.

Excitel recently also launched ‘Cable Cutter Plan’ with internet speed of up to 400mbps. It also packs subscriptions to 12 OTT channels and over 550 live TV channels.
