Telecom Infra in Cantonments

Ministry of Defence, on January 18, 2023, issued new rules easing the laying of mobile towers, optical fiber and telecom infrastructure in its area. Now the applications received for installation of under/ overground telecom infrastructure on defence land shall be processed in accordance with the Indian Telegraph Right of Way Rules (RoW Rules) 2016.
