Vaishnaw sacks 10 officers

Communications minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has approved the forced retirement of 10 senior officials of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for alleged non-performance and corruption-related instances. All these officers belong to Indian Telecom Services (ITS) cadre. Half of these officers are from scheduled caste (SC) and other backward class (OBC) communities.
