Aviation Communication

Trai has come out with a consultation paper titled, “Data Communication Services between Aircraft and Ground Stations Provided by Organizations Other Than Airports Authority of India”. At present, globally, data communication between the aircraft and the ground stations are provided by two companies – Société Internationale de Telecommunications Aeronautiques (SITA) and Bird Consultancy Services (BCS).
