Cyber-crime in India has increased by 5.9 pc in 2021 as compared to 2020, latest report by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) said. Telangana (10,303) topped the list with the highest crime followed by Uttar Pradesh (8,829), Karnataka (8,136), Maharashtra (5,562) and Assam (4,846). In 2020, UP (11,097) was leading with the highest number of cyber-crime followed by Karnataka (10,741) and Maharashtra (5,496).
