5G Spectrum mostly sold at base price

The much-talked about 5G spectrum auction started on July 26, 2022 and ended on August 1, 2022. The 7-day auction had 40 clock-rounds of bidding. A total of 51,236 MHz spectrum was sold out fetching Rs 150,174 crore, which is 71 per cent of the quantum and 35 per cent in value, respectively, of the total spectrum that was put on sale.
