OTSC Scam

Figures have not changed, but intention has. In November 2010, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) said One Time Spectrum Charges (OTSC) were to the tune of Rs 37,000 crore, which was part of total Rs 1.76 lakh crore 2G Scam, eleven years later also, the figures stated by the government before the Supreme Court is roughly the same ie Rs 40,000 crore. But what has changed in between is the government’s intention to recover it and the reason cited for this is to keep one company afloat: Vodafone Idea.
