DoT takes away works from CSC SPV and awards them to BSNL

The Universal Service Obligation (USO) Fund has taken a good step. It has taken away all the work allotted to CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd (CSC SPV) related to operation & maintenance of incremental OF cable network, first line maintenance (FLM) equipment in GPs, and the usage of BharatNet, and awarded them to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL). In an office memorandum issued on March 28, 2022, it has directed Bharat Broadband Nigam Ltd (BBNL) to hand over the entire function to BSNL.
